A largely successful weekend saw the 1st XI claim victory against Cannock on Saturday to guarantee Division Two cricket season, but they then fell to defeat away to Warwickshire side Water Orton on Monday. The 2nd XI achieved a winning draw away to Cannock on Saturday, and then claimed a superb victory against promotion rivals Barnt Green on Monday. The 3rd XI had their game against Overton-on-Dee abandoned due to a wet pitch caused by the poor weather during the week.
This weekend sees the penultimate weekend of Birmingham League action as the 1st XI travel to Harborne, whilst the 2nd XI host Smethwick. The 3rd XI hope to thwart their recent bad luck with the weather as they travel to Ludlow.
On Sunday the 1st XI complete their maiden season in the Worcester Border League by hosting Old Wulfrunians at Cricket Meadow.
