Bridgnorth CC 1st XI v Eastnor (Away)
Bridgnorth 1st XI (96) beat Eastnor (61) by 35 runs

Bridgnorth 1st XI saw off newly promoted Eastnor in a low-scoring match on Saturday, in which Tom Weaver shone by taking 7-35.
Skipper Mark MacPherson-Lees lost the toss and had little answer to the bowling of Sajeed, who claimed 8-23, although Jono Whitney showed his Minor Counties class with 31 runs, as Bridgnorth limped to 96 all out.
Eastnor, in reply, had no answer to the good bowling of Tom Weaver, who continued his wicket-grabbing start to the season as the home side were skittledout for just 61. Bridgnorth picked up 24 points.
Bridgnorth CC 2nd XI v Water Orton (Home)
Bridgnorth 2nd XI (167-6) had a losing draw against Water Orton (217-6)

Bowling: S. Pitt 4-.
Bridgnorth 2nds had to be content with a losing draw against a Water Orton side who tottered to 85-4 after some fine bowling by Simon Pitt. They did, however, eventually reach 217-6 off their 50 overs as their attacking batting improved.
Bridgnorth lost a wicket in the first over, but Andy Unitt steadied the ship with a top score of 36, while 14-year-old Tom Weston shone with a mature unbeaten 31.
Bridgnorth CC 3rd XI v Tibberton (Away)
Bridgnorth 3rd XI (92) lost to Tibberton (93-3) by 7 wickets

Bridgnorth 3rds batted first on a green wicket and were bowled out for 92, with only Harry Broad, Andrew Mooney and Cam Wallis reaching double figures.
Wallis, Tom Baugh and Elliot Pottinger each took a wicket as Tibberton overhauled the Bridgnorth total.
Bridgnorth CC 1st XI v Newport (Home)
Bridgnorth 1st XI (265-4) had a winning draw against Newport (159-6)

Tom Whitney smashed a sparkling 155 not out off just 159 deliveries against Newport as Bridgnorth 1st XI moved up to third place in the Birmingham League third division on Monday. Bridgnorth rattled up 265-4 off only 44 overs of their allotted 55 overs before declaring.
Tom Whitney's superb innings brought him the HQ Sports Bar man-of-the-match award, and there were also useful contributions from Dave Exall (25) and a rapid innings from Gareth Mumford (23).
Rain delayed Newport's reply as their allotted overs were reduced from 66 to 49. They reached just 52-0 after 25 overs when drinks were taken. Despite a number of bowling changes in the last 10 overs Bridgnorth were unable to claim victory, but did achieve a winning draw, with Andy Leather claiming three victims and skipper Mark MacPherson-Lees two, backed up by good fielding as Newport reached 159-6 at the close.
Bridgnorth CC 2nd XI v Old Hill (Away)
Bridgnorth 2nd XI (130) lost to Old Hill (133-5) by 5 wickets

Bowling:
Matt Martin and Tom Weston were the top scorers as the 2nd XI were bowled out for 130 on Monday.
Old Hill overtook the total for the loss of five wickets for victory, but all the Bridgnorth bowlers managed to claim victims.
